Locum opportunity for Physician – Nephrology in Maryville, TN

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞:
Physician – 𝐍𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (Locum Tenens)

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Nephrologist to provide both inpatient and outpatient care, including management of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients. The physician will work in an acute care hospital setting, providing adult nephrology services, 24-hour call coverage, and clinic-based care. The position requires experience with Epic EMR and the ability to manage a full adult patient population.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Manage inpatient and outpatient nephrology patients
- Dialysis patient management (hemodialysis & peritoneal dialysis)
- 24-hour call coverage and clinic hours (8 hrs/day, Mon–Fri)
- Collaborate with hospital staff and support teams
- Maintain documentation in Epic EMR

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 & 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞:
- Schedule Type: Scheduled + On Call Required
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Flexible)
- Call Coverage: 24-hour call + clinic coverage
- On-Call Requirement: Yes

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 & 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬:
- Board Certification Required: Yes (BC in Nephrology)
- Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years post-training
- State License: Tennessee (Required)
- Willing to License: No
- Certifications Required: BLS
- EMR: Epic
