Neurology APP Needed in CA (will license PA's only)

Location: Oakland, CA

Start: March

26-week assignment

Shift Details: M-F 9-5 all inpatient no weekends, no holidays
Schedule: M-F every week
Call requirements: no call

Work Details:
• Support staff: admin assistant, MA, RNs
• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time every week
• Patients per day: 5-10
• Patient population/age: adult
• EMR: epic
• Special procedures: lumbar puncture skills strongly preferred, although not required
• Skills required: acute stroke management required

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: n/a
• License required: Can license for PAs, CANNOT license for NPs
• DEA: CA required
• Certifications preferred: n/a
• Certifications required: BLS
• Minimum experience required:
2 years recent exp in Neurology
Prior inpatient neurology required
Will consider those with outpatient exp, as long as they have inpatient experience in the past 5 years.

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
