As part of the medical school’s expansion, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine will have its headquarters in Grand Rapids beginning fall of 2010, joining 14 other colleges and universities that call West Michigan home. Facility: Medical Group is a multi-specialty physician network that employs more than 700 physicians and advanced practice professionals in Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Holland and the Lakeshore. Opportunity: Neurologist *Full-time permanent position *Position is primarily outpatient *1:10 weekend general neurology inpatient call. There is separate stroke call so not required to handle strokes. We also have inpatient neuro residents available to assist with inpatient call *Types of procedures offered: Botox for migraine, migraine infusions, EMG, EEG, cEEG, sEEG, all radiology modalities, LP, nerve blocks, rehab *Board Certified/Eligible- Required *MI license (or willing to obtain) - Required *DEA license (or able to obtain) - Required *ACLS & BLS - Required Compensation: Competitive compensation package (to be discussed at site visit) Relocation assistance Full-time benefit package Malpractice insurance w/tail CME funds, licensure, and professional membership support 403b with employer contribution & match
