Neuro-Hospitalist- Missouri
Est. Start: January 18th – Ongoing
Travel and Lodging Covered

Position Details

Setting: Inpatient

Schedule:
7 on 7 off

Patient Population: Adults

Admissions: ~12 PPD

Stroke Certified Hospital – rounding on assigned and unassigned patients

Support Staff: 9 RNs, 5 NPs, 1 office staff

Supervision: Required

Background Check: Clean BG required

Clinical Scope / Required Case Skills

Must be able to read Transcranial Dopplers

Heavy Stroke management (TNK or mechanical thrombectomy involvement)

Lumbar Punctures

General neurology consults

Must be comfortable with high patient volume

Requirements

Board Certified (BC)

Missouri license or IMLC

BLS required

Must submit 24-month case logs for:

Lumbar punctures

TNK administration

Will be needed for IV credentialing

Experience in high-acuity stroke environments preferred
