Certified Nurse Midwife – Bellingham, WA

Job description

Start Date: ASAP through end of May
Assignment Length: Approximately nine months
Position Type: Full-time

Schedule:
Twelve-hour night shifts, three shifts per week
Blocked scheduling available

Practice Setting:
Hospital-based, inpatient only

Facility Details:
Ten beds and fourteen post beds
Average one to two L & D per day

Position Details:
Provide full-scope OB care including rounding and admissions
Work independently during shifts

Clinical Responsibilities: all inpatient L & D

Patient Population:
Adult patients

Requirements:
Certified Nurse Midwife
Active Washington license and Washington DEA required at time of submission
BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
Recent clinical experience within the past twenty-four months consistent with requested privileges; case logs required

Additional Information:
Providers must be comfortable working independently
Coverage needed for one full-time equivalent
