This locum tenens opportunity is ideal for CNMs comfortable with independent inpatient coverage, including labor management, deliveries, and overnight call.

In-house night coverage with call

9-month assignment

Clinical Setting
Hospital-based L&D unit

Scope of Work
Manage laboring patients overnight
Perform deliveries
Assist with C-sections
Handle admissions, rounding, and triage

Procedures
delivery
C-section assist
Inductions
FSE and IUPC placement
Laceration repair (1st–2nd degree)

Patient Volume
1–2 deliveries per 24 hours

Requirements
Certified Nurse Midwife
Active Washington license required
Washington DEA required
BLS certification

Additional Info
In-house overnight presence required majority of shifts
Collaborative team environment
Consistent L&D coverage with moderate volume
