Locum Physician Assistant (PA) – 𝐎𝐁/𝐆𝐘𝐍 / 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
We are seeking an experienced Locum Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in OB/GYN / Women’s Health to provide comprehensive care for patients in both outpatient clinic and hospital-based settings. The PA will work closely with the clinical team to manage routine and complex women’s health issues, perform examinations, assist in procedures, and ensure high-quality patient care.

This role involves providing comprehensive women’s health care in both clinic and hospital settings, including prenatal care, deliveries, postpartum management, and gynecologic services. The PA will work closely with rotating OBGYN physicians, assisting with deliveries and C-sections, while also taking part in scheduled call coverage.

The position requires prior hospital-based OB/GYN or midwifery experience and offers a mix of clinic hours, weeknight call, and limited weekend call (one week per month). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PA seeking a rural practice environment with strong physician and nursing support.

𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 & 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞:
- Full-scope women’s health services (excluding endoscopic procedures)
- Prenatal care and routine OB checks
- Management of normal pregnancies
- Natural and emergency deliveries in collaboration with on-call physician
- Postpartum care and patient education
- IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal
- Birth control counseling and contraceptive management
- Routine gynecologic care (pelvic exams, Pap tests)
- Assist with C-sections alongside OBGYN

𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- Board Certified PA – 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝
- Active Oregon PA License – 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝
- BLS, ACLS, DEA, NRP – 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝
- NPDB Self-Query (dated within 30 days) – 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝
- Hospital-based midwife/PA experience – 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝
