California - OB/GYN Locums – Diverse Cases, Flexible Schedule

Job description

Coverage: Scheduled + Call
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks (ongoing opportunities)
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 24-hour call coverage

Assignment Details:
- Support Staff: 2 MAs
- Patients per Shift: 10–15
- Trauma Level: Level II
- EMR: Cerner
- Department Beds: 3

Scope of Practice:
- High-risk pregnancies
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB Ultrasounds: Level I (viability) and Level II (targeted/anatomic) – preferred
- Routine deliveries: vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-sections
- Complicated deliveries: C-section, breech, abruptions, VBACs, multiple births – preferred
- Office/minor gynecology: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.

Requirements:
- Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active California medical license
- BLS & PALS certifications
- Credentialing timeframe: 30–60 days
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
