• Location: Denver, CO
• Target Start: May
• Length of commitment: 6 months with the option to extend or transition to permanent
• Shift Details: 8-10 shifts per month
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (5p-7a); Saturday and Sunday (7a-5p)
• Support staff: staffed 24/7 with attending physician and midwives, 24/7 anesthesia coverage, 2 CRNA dedicated to labor and delivery and 1 anesthesiologist attending in house at all times.
• Patients per day: approx. 13 deliveries per day, 400 per month
• Patient population/age: primarily adult women, antepartum
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: 550; labor and delivery unit is 15 beds with 3 operating rooms in PACU
• Broad skillset: vaginal deliveries, scheduled and emergency c-sections, manage post-partum hemorrhage medically and surgically, heavy focus on OB side, ectopic pregnancy, D and C.
• Department Description: do labor patients who have had prior c-sections; MFM consultation and ability to transfer stable patients; Mixed model between attendings and midwives; High volume of medically and socially complex population.
• Practice Setting: Hospital - Level I trauma center, Level 3 Nursery
• Required: Board Certified, Active CO, DEA, BLS, ACLS, 3 years experience
