The role involves providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology coverage during 24-hour weekend call periods. Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery cases, responding to obstetric emergencies, performing gynecologic procedures, and providing consultations as needed. Board certification is required, and clinicians must maintain prescriptive authority. The position requires on-site availability with beeper call responsibilities covering the facility's annual volume of 550 births.
