• Location: Morehead, KY
• Target Start: March 2025
• Length of commitment: 6 – 12 months with the option to extend
• Shift Details: Monday-Friday (8-5)
• Schedule: 2-3 weeks of M-F coverage; including M-F clinic coverage, M-F 24-hour call, and 24-hour weekend call. M-F Clinic half days (12:30-4:30) M-F 24-hour call; Weekend 24-hour call
• Support staff: APPs, midwives, MAs, front desk/admin assistants
• Amount of coverage needed per month: minimum 1 week of coverage/month, Flexible on availability
• Patients per day: 20 patients/day
• Patient population/age: older adolescents, adults, low income, 60% medicaid
• Department description: Adolescent gynecology, Cervical cancer screenings, Contraception, including oral and implantable options, Genetic testing and counseling, Gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomies, Health maintenance, Hormone replacement therapy, In-office ultrasound imaging, Low- and high-risk obstetrics care, Wellness exams
• EMR: Epic
• Special procedures: Full scope OBGYN procedures, consults, deliveries, laparoscopies, hysterectomies, C-sections, biopsies, general surgeries
• Call Volume: Average work during a 24-hour call shift – 1 delivery, 1 ED consult, 3-6 triages.
• Birth Volume: 300 births/year
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active KY License ** Will License**, BLS, ACLS, 1 year experience
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
