OB/GYN Physician Full-Time Locums Assignment

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician to provide full-time locum tenens coverage at a well-established hospital-based practice in coastal Maine. This opportunity offers a great schedule, professional environment, and the potential for locums-to-permanent transition.
Assignment Details:
Duration: June 2026 – December 2026 (minimum commitment required)
Schedule: Full-time coverage (clinic + call)
Pay rate: $250/hour
Setting: Hospital-based OB/GYN practice providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care
Support: Collaborative team including physicians, midwives, and nursing staff

Responsibilities:
Provide complete obstetric and gynecologic care
Manage prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care
Perform gynecologic surgeries and in-office procedures
Participate in call rotation as assigned
Support a patient-centered approach with compassion and respect

Requirements:
Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology – Required
Active Maine medical license or active IMLC LOQ – Required
Prior locums or hospital-based experience preferred
