OB Hospitalist (High-Risk Focus)

Job description

We are seeking OB Hospitalists comfortable managing high-risk pregnancies in a collaborative, well-supported environment. This role works closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists, who are available in-house during the day and on call overnight

Schedule & Call
24-hour in-house call shifts (7a–7a)
Optional 12-hour shifts available
Flexible ongoing coverage needs

Role Responsibilities
Provide coverage for MFM service and high-risk obstetric patients
Respond to urgent OB needs and emergencies on the unit
Assist with C-sections and other obstetrical procedures
At Abbott Northwestern: care for unassigned/undoctored OB patients
Collaborate closely with in-house OB/GYN providers for shared support

Requirements
Board Certification: OB/GYN required
Licensure: Minnesota license highly preferred; IMLC required if not licensed
Certifications: BLS required

Experience:
Must have Trauma Level I or II experience
Experience managing high-risk pregnancies strongly preferred
