About the clinician's workday

The facility is seeking PRN support for deliveries and call coverage, needing approximately 10 twentyfourhour shifts per month, including at least one weekend. Candidates requiring a state license will be considered, especially those holding an interstate license. Board Certification is required, along with DEA and ACLS. Coverage includes weekday and weekend 24hour call (6pm-6pm), realtime documentation, and collaboration with CNMs. The unit averages 10 inpatients per day and about 5 cases daily, caring primarily for newborn patients, and APP supervision is required. Credentialing typically takes 30-60 days for the hospital and around 60 days for payors. The role involves fullscope OB/GYN with 24/7 MFM support, inhouse anesthesia, VBACs, and a Level III NICU. Expected procedures include Csections, postpartum tubal ligations, D&Cs, ectopic pregnancy management, and emergent GYN procedures.
