Obstetrician/Gynecologist needed in Farmington, MO

Job Title: Obstetrician/Gynecologist – Locum Tenens
Location: Farmington, MO
Duration: 3 months (ongoing coverage 1 week/month)
Schedule:
Standard: 7 days, Day (24 Hours) 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
24-hour call blocks: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (example: December 30 – January 5); ongoing coverage of 1 week per month
On-Call Requirements: Required — 24-hour call; off-site permitted with ability to be present within 30 minutes; in-house response time target within 10 minutes
Board Certification Required: Yes – Obstetrics/Gynecology
Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Inpatient/Outpatient; 104-bed rural hospital)
Patient Population: Adults (OB/GYN)
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: 1 OBGYN, 1 FMOB, 2 APPs; OB & ED departments coordinate in-house needs
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days

Procedures Include:
Vaginal births
Cesarean sections
Tubal ligation
Hysterectomy
Dilation and curettage (D&C)
