OB/GYN Physician needed in Monroe, NY.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician to join our team. The role focuses primarily on obstetrics with a small portion of gynecology. This is an ongoing position with an ASAP start date.

Position Details:

Specialty: OB (95% OB, 5% GYN)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Shift Details:
16-96 hours per month depending on workload
Minimum of 1-2 clinical shifts (8 hours each) per week
Minimum of 1, 24-hour call shift per month at the hospital (not pager call; provider must be on-site with a dedicated room next to L&D)
Schedule: Flexible based on workload and needs

5 other OB providers
Midwife support
For Sunday call: LPN, MA, Receptionist, and other doctors
Coverage Needed per Month: Minimum of 3-4 weeks of availability
Patients per Day: 14 patients, seen every 30 minutes
Patient Population/Age: Teenagers and Adults
Department Description:
EMR: eClinicalWorks
Hospital Bed Size: Community health centers
Special Procedures: Onsite ultrasound; deliveries at Good Samaritan
Volume: 1500 deliveries per year
Additional: Sleep room available for providers during 24-hour call

Board Certification: Must be Board Certified (No Board Eligible candidates)
