Position Overview
A well-established community women’s health group in Monroe, NY is adding OB coverage to support a high-volume practice. The role is predominantly OB (95%) with limited GYN (5%) and consistent patient flow. Providers work closely with experienced OB colleagues and midwife support in a collaborative clinical setting. Deliveries are supported through a nearby hospital with strong infrastructure and consistent annual volume.

Work Environment & Schedule
• Coverage Model
o One 24-hour in-house call shift per week (not pager call)
o Two 8-hour clinic shifts per week (Monday–Friday)
o Provider room available adjacent to L&D during call shifts
• Availability Needed
o Minimum 3 weeks per month (4 weeks preferred)
• Patient Volume
o ~14 patients per clinic day (30-minute visits)
o Patient population primarily teens and adults
o Approximately 1,500 deliveries annually
• Clinical Support
o 5 OB providers on staff
o Midwife support
o Sunday call includes LPN, MA, receptionist, and physician support
o Onsite ultrasound available

o Community health center with hospital-based delivery coverage at a neighboring facility

Requirements
• Board Certified OB/GYN (BE not accepted)
• Active state medical license required
• Active DEA required
• Comfortable managing OB deliveries and clinic volume
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60–90 days
