OB-GYN Locums with Flexible work set-up

Job description

Dates:
Friday - Tuesday coverage needed each week.
Weekdays will include clinic coverage as well as call.
On weekdays, call will be assisted by midwives.
Weekend coverage would be physician call only.

*Assist with clinic coverage, including GYN patients, OB patients and hospital follow-up
*To round on all antepartum and postpartum patients
*If called by the Emergency Department or a consulting physician.
*Round on any consulted patients until patient can be discharged or care can be signed off from the specialty perspective.
*Maternal transport from outside facility.
*Documentation of Patient Contact Hours
*Physician is not required to be on-site while providing Call Support

Areas of Practice
Low risk pregnancy
High risk pregnancy
FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation
* Level I/Screening (viability)

Labor and Delivery
Routine delivery - vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for c-section
Complicated delivery - c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions etc.
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Gynecology
Surgical gynecology -
*open
* Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOAs, chronal tubation
* operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy,
ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs
