Locums OBGYN Needed in North Carolina (IMLC Accepted)

Job description

Contract Length: 3 months
Schedule:
Monday: clinic 8am – 5:00pm (with lunch from noon – 1:00pm)
Tuesday: clinic 8am – 5:00pm (with lunch from noon – 1:00pm)
Wednesday: clinic 8am – 5:00pm (with lunch from noon – 1:00pm)
Thursday: 24-hour call coverage, onsite coverage (7a-7a)
Friday: no shift

Clinic details
Practice Setting: rural OBGYN setting with busy office and L&D floor
Patient Volume: Average of 2-3 deliveries per 24-hour shift. See 6-10 patients for half day clinic and 15-20 patients for a whole day clinic
Patient Population: adults, some under 18 OB and GYN patients
Support Staff: clinical/clerical team; nurses in L&D
Cases/Procedures: It is 24 hours onsite L&D/GYN call coverage for the OBGYN. There is no beeper or call back. LEEP, endometrial biopsies, COLPOS, IUD insertions (dedicated procedure room)
EMR: EPIC, required
