Locum - Physician - OB/GYN

Job description

Our client is seeking a locum OB/GYN to help with provide on-call coverage, ongoing. They are looking for a provider willing to cover Christmas/New Years (2024 & 2025) + additional dates as needed!

Open dates:
December 24 @ 8am-January 6 @8am (2024)
February 12@8am-February 17@8am (2025)
December 23 @8am-December 29 @ 8am (2025)

Job Details
Location: Hospital ER/GYN and L&D call
Total Number of Beds: 10 LDRP, 3 PP, & 1 Triage
Number of Physicians in Practice: 2, 5 CNMS
40%-50% Gyn, 1-4 Gyn surgeries per day
15%-35% C-sections
Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 2-5
Avg Daily Census: Newborns – 3-4
Avg Daily Census: Peds 0-1 every 2 months
# of beds in nursery – 12 Normal Newborn. No Special Care Nursery
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
PROVIDERS MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE C-SECTIONS + ALL OB/GYN RELATED SURGERIES
60-90 day credentialing timeframe - dependent on how quickly the application is submitted and extensive their history is. Emergency Temp privileged are possible for providers with a clean background and active OH license & DEA.

Flu vaccine - Required at time of credentialing
