OB/GYN needed for Locum coverage near in Oregon

Job description

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an OBGYN provider to cover 24-hour on-call shifts. Call does not have to be in house, but they are expected to be at facility within 15 minutes.  The role primarily involves GYN procedures, as an OB laborist will manage deliveries.

Key Details:
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
Shift Details: Preferably 24-hour shifts; 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) may be considered
Schedule: 5-6 shifts per month preferred; will accept candidates for at least 2 shifts

Responsibilities:
Cover emergent GYN procedures and triage cases
Provide care for a diverse patient population (newborn to adult)
Collaborate with midwives and a 24-hour in-house anesthesiologist
Facility Information:
Average of 2,300 deliveries/year
Level 3 NICU on-site
EMR system: EPIC

Requirements:
Board Certification required
Active Oregon medical license preferred; will consider candidates in process
DEA certification required
Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS

Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days; temporary privileges may be available
