OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY PHYSICIAN (OB/GYN)
POSITION TYPE:
Permanent, Full-Time
PRACTICE SETTING:
Hospital-Employed, Multi-Specialty Women’s Health Practice
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Join an established 4.5-FTE OB/GYN practice expanding to add one additional full-time OB/GYN physician. This role offers a balanced mix of clinic, surgical, and obstetric responsibilities within a collaborative, specialty-rich environment focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.
New or recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
SCHEDULE & CALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clinic Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Call Rotation: 1:6 rotation, includes weekday 24-hour in-house call
- Guaranteed Post-Call Day: Limited to light administrative duties
- Weekend Coverage: Every 6th weekend
- Work-Life Balance: Predictable schedule with protected post-call recovery time
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide full-spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine and complex OB/GYN services
- Manage patient population composed of ~80% low-risk pregnancies
- Perform/manage Cesarean sections (25–30% C-section rate)
- Provide laparoscopic procedures, including:
- Dilation & Curettage (D&C)
- Evacuations for missed abortions
- Utilize robotic surgical systems (Da Vinci platforms)
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary women’s health team, including:
. Breast surgery
. Radiation oncology
. Cardiology
. Physical therapy
. Occupational therapy
- Deliver care within modern ambulatory and hospital-based setting using Meditech EMR and all-new office equipment
PRACTICE & FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS:
Approximately 1,200 deliveries per year

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Competitive Starting Salary: $375,000 – $400,000 (reflects total compensation; excludes bonuses/incentives)

Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
BLS (or willingness to obtain)
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
Pennsylvania medical license (or willingness to obtain)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Pennsylvania license (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with:
- Complicated deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- Robotic surgical systems (must be documented in “Experience” section)
- BLS (or willingness to obtain)
- DEA (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
- Willingness to participate in 1:6 call rotation, including weekday 24-hour call with post-call light administrative day
- Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (must be active within 30 days)
- Shift(s) Description: Monday–Friday clinic schedule with rotating 24-hour in-house call shifts (post-call day is light administrative only).
- Weekend Requirements: Every 6th weekend
- On Call Requirements: 1:6 call rotation including weekday 24-hour call with post-call day off.
