OB Hospitalist | Houston TX | Level IV Maternal & NICU | 12s/24s | Inpatient Only

Job description

A high-acuity Women’s hospital in the Texas Medical Center seeks OB hospitalists for scheduled, in-house coverage. Inpatient-only—no clinic.

Schedule:
• 12-hr day or night shifts or 24-hr options (reverse-24 considered)
• Ongoing needs beginning November–December (rolling monthly schedules)

Clinical scope:
• L&D/antepartum/postpartum/OBED oversight
• Evaluate/manage unassigned OB/Gyn patients from admit→discharge
• Assist complex deliveries (incl. TOLAC); respond to OB/Gyn emergencies
• Surgical management for unassigned Gyn; coordinate transfers as needed

Setting & support:
• Level IV Maternal program and Level IV NICU
• EP-ready resources with MFM and surgical backup
• Team-based culture focused on safety and rapid response
