Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for a 6-month locum assignment in Virginia, starting December 2025. This role includes a mix of full-time office coverage (8a–5p) and 8 monthly 24-hour call shifts, working alongside a strong, collaborative clinical team in a busy and well-supported environment.

Collaborative Team – Work with 5 Board-Certified OB/GYNs, 5 Advanced Practitioners, and a CNM

Thriving Practice – 70–75 deliveries and 20–25 non-obstetrical surgeries monthly

Position Details:

Start Date: December 2025

Contract Length: 6 months

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p + Call (1:6 rotation)

Coverage Type: Scheduled + Call

Patients per Day: ~25 (office)

Setting: Clinic & Hospital

Call Responsibilities: OB services on Labor & Delivery, unassigned OB/GYN hospital call

EMR: EPIC

Hospital Size: 146-bed acute-care facility with Level II Nursery and 280+ medical staff

Requirements:

Board Certified – American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Active Virginia License Required
