Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN to provide 24-hour call coverage at a well-supported hospital in Virginia. This opportunity offers a dynamic inpatient setting, collaborative support staff, and the chance to make a meaningful impact caring for mothers and newborns in a high-acuity environment.

• Start Date: June 2026
• Location: Virginia
• Coverage Type: 24-Hour On-Call Coverage
• Shift Schedule: Standard
• Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 AM (24 hours)
• Coverage Includes: On-site inpatient rounding, evening call, and weekend call coverage

• Daily Patient Volume: 11
• EMR: eCW (Outpatient) and Meditech (Inpatient)
• Facility: Hospital
• Support Staff: Dedicated nursing unit staffing and two outpatient NPs (physician available by phone for emergent questions)

Scope of Responsibilities
OBGYN Locums providers will manage a full-scope inpatient call assignment, including:
• Laboring patients
• Inductions
• Triage of labor patients
• Deliveries
• ER consults
• Floor consults
• Trauma call
• Follow-up on established OBGYN patients in the inpatient setting
• Coverage of emergent procedures
• Availability by phone for outpatient NP urgent clinical questions

• Inpatient hospital-based coverage
• On-site rounding and call
• Collaborative nursing and clinical support team

Requirements
• License: Active Virginia medical license required
• Board Status: Board Certified required (Board Eligibility accepted)
• Experience: Full-scope OBGYN inpatient call experience preferred
• Availability: Must be able to provide 24-hour on-site coverage
