Job Title: Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician – Locum Tenens
Location: Richmond, VA
Start Date: June 1, 2026
Schedule:
24‑hour on‑site shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 AM
On-Call Requirements: 24‑hour on‑site call (restricted call model)
Board Certification Required: Yes – OB/GYN
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Patient Population: Adults
EMR: eCW (outpatient) and Meditech (inpatient)
Support Staff: Hospital nursing unit staff
Procedures Include:
Labor and delivery management
Inductions and triage of labor patients
ER consults and floor consults
Trauma call
C‑sections and emergent procedures
Inpatient rounding on established OB/GYN patients
Managing 3–7 deliveries per shift
Fielding emergent calls/questions from office NPs as needed
