Job description

Looking for an OB/GYN locum opportunity with consistent call shifts and strong support? This is a great option for providers who prefer block scheduling and a manageable delivery volume.

Position Highlights:

24-hour shifts (8a–8a) with flexible scheduling
At least 1 week per month of coverage needed
No set weekly schedule—built-in flexibility
Travel covered

Clinical Details:

~75 OB patients/month with 25–30 deliveries
Mix of OB and GYN cases
Occasional clinic coverage for high-risk/late-term OB
GYN procedures through ER (D&C, ablations, miscarriage management, etc.)
OR on unit

Support & Environment:

Family Birth Center with dedicated unit manager + 3 nurses per shift
On-call specialty support (general surgery, cardiology, etc.)
EMR: Epic

Requirements:

Board Certified OB/GYN
Active Virginia license required (no licensing available)
BLS, ACLS, DEA required
Clean background required

Credentialing: 30–60 days
