Reason for opening: To cover a gap in call coverage

Type of privileges (clinic/hospital/both): Hospital and Clinic

Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient or Both? Hospital but we will be seeking clinic privileges as well, in the event that the coverage needed expands and includes clinic but for now, the need is hospital only

Call requirement: 3-4 24-hour shifts a month.

Rounding, admissions, or none? Both

Patient demographics: Adult woman

Required Procedures: D&C, C-section, other inpatient OBGYN procedures

Department has 50-75 deliveries per month

Required clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs): Applicant must provide documentation of provision of clinical services (100 patients, to include at least 15 Cesarean sections and 30 vaginal deliveries) representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months.

Applicant must also provide documentation of provision of clinical services (50 gynecology patients) representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months

Will provider work solo? No, there are other OBYN providers.

Licensed Candidate: No, we are open to providers who do not actively hold a Washington License. But Washington License or IMLC is preferred.

Required certifications (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross as applicable): BLS
