This is a busy, high acuity practice. Providers see emergent cases that come through the Emergency Dept and would include hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy, D&C, ovarian cystectomy; hysteroscopy; IUD insertions; abscess; post hysterectomy complications; exploratory laparotomy. There are 5 midwives that practice in the group and help support the MD providers on L&D.

Providers will be working in house call, this is paid hourly. There would not be any application of OT unless provider needed to stay beyond the 24 hour shift.

Skills required: Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation, Routine delivery (Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section, Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations) Surgical gynecology – Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal
Tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
