Occupational Medicine / Urgent Care APP (Locum Tenens) — California

Start: ASAP

End: (3-month contract)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p (or until last patient is seen)

Coverage: 5 days per week

Must be willing to float between multiple clinic locations within the region

Clinical Setting

Outpatient clinic / private practice

Patient population: All ages

Visit types: Walk-in and scheduled

EMR: Allscripts

Scope of Work

Diagnose and treat work-related injuries

Urgent care evaluations and treatment

Pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physicals

In-office procedures

Employer communication and medical guidance

Possible oversight and collaboration with other APPs

Timely, accurate documentation expected

Skills Required

DOT certified by first shift

Suturing required

Comfortable practicing autonomously

Requirements

BC/BE in primary care or related field

Active California license
