Ophthalmology Locum Need in Virginia!

Contract Length: Ongoing
Shift Details: 24/7 Call Coverage
Schedule:
• Friday-Sunday Weekend Trauma Call Coverage
• Optional: 1-2 clinic days if desired
Work Details:
• Coverage Needed Per Month: Every weekend; potentially 1-2 clinic days (TBD)
• Patients Per Day: Very few callbacks; 4-5 callbacks in the last 3 months
• Patient Population/Age: Adults only
• Department Description: 24/7 Trauma Ophthalmology call coverage at a Level 2 trauma center. Must respond to consults in person within 30 minutes to maintain trauma designation.
• EMR: Epic
• Special Procedures: Managing open globe/rupture, ocular plastics, hemorrhaging behind the eye, and chemical burns to the eye.
Practice Setting: Hospital
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required
• State License: VA licensed or in process
• DEA: Required
• Minimum Experience: 1-2 years
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days

• Willing to license!
• EMR: EPIC
