Locums Orthopedic Surgery APP Needed in Eureka, CA

Job description

• Schedule: We are looking for 1-2 provider who can help cover a full time ortho APP coverage need.
• Monday- Thursday: provider will work in the clinic from 8am-5pm (12-1 will be an hour lunch unpaid). • Friday: provider will have mainly OR time with the surgeon from 7:30amcould end anywhere between 3pm-5pm. If there are no OR cases, the provider will either have an admin day or will be in the clinic.
• Call: APP will be required to take call 5-7 days a month. When on call that week, they will work 8am-5pm with call included in their hourly pay (Friday: 7:30am- 3 or 5pm). Night call will apply from 5pm-8am. They will then be on 24hr call on the weekend. If they are doing 5 days of call that month, please note
there is flexibility and those set days could be scattered throughout that week.

• EMR: Epic
• Skills required: Comfortable assisting with most orthopedic surgeries
• Practice Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient

Requirements:
• All specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty
• 2 years of clinical activity will need to be submitted with a focus on trauma orthopedics
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 Days
