Job description

A respected Arizona facility is seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum tenens support as they work to fill a current vacancy. This assignment offers a mix of clinic, hospital, and call coverage with a flexible schedule and an expedited credentialing process.

Opportunity Details & Requirements
Schedule

Monday–Friday clinic/hospital schedule
Call shifts included
Looking for full-time coverage (4 weeks/month), but 2–3 weeks/month will also be considered

Practice Setting

Combination of clinic and hospital
Opportunity to support ongoing community patient needs in a well-equipped environment

Case Types

Diagnose and treat patients in an outpatient clinical setting
Perform general orthopedic surgeries as needed
Provide call coverage per facility requirements

Credentialing

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Timeline: Approximately 90 days (potentially sooner)

Certifications Required

Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
BLS – Basic Life Support
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
DEA – Active Registration

Licensure

Active Arizona medical license required
