10‑Day Block Scheduling | EPIC EMR | Surgical + Trauma Coverage
Assignment Overview:
Sumo Medical Staffing is seeking a Board‑Certified ENT/Otolaryngology Physician (MD/DO) for an ongoing Locum Tenens assignment in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. This position provides a reliable 10‑day consecutive block each month, full privileges at two clinical locations, and coverage of clinic, rounding, and call.

Schedule

10‑day block each month
Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (Clinic + Rounding)
Call:

Weekdays: 4:30 p.m.–8:00 a.m.
Weekends: 24‑hour call (Sat 8:00 a.m.–Sun 8:00 a.m.)




Clinical Responsibilities

Outpatient ENT clinic
Inpatient rounding and consults
ENT surgical cases
Trauma call coverage


Patient Volume

~20 clinic patients/day
~3 consults/day
70% Adult | 30% Pediatric


Procedural Scope

Tracheotomy
Oral maxillofacial and facial trauma repairs
Soft tissue repairs
OR surgical cases
Limited facial plating; minimal mandible arch bars


Practice Environment

Solo practice
EPIC EMR
Privileges at two sister office locations


Requirements

Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
Board Certified ENT/Otolaryngology
DEA, BLS, ACLS
Trauma and OR experience preferred
