Pediatric CVICU NP – ECMO Experience Preferred – San Francisco, CA

Job description

Locum PNP-AC needed for a high-acuity Pediatric Cardiac ICU in San Francisco, CA. The role includes variable 12-hour shifts with required night or weekend availability. Provider will support critically ill pediatric patients, including neonates and congenital cardiac cases, with exposure to ECMO, vents, and post-operative cardiac care.

Key Points
• Start Date: 2/2/2026
• Schedule: Variable 12-hr shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays
• Minimum: 4 shifts per month
• Patient Census: 17–18
• Population: Neonates, pediatrics, and some adult congenital
• EMR: Epic
• Procedures: IVs, arterial lines; some intubation/central line opportunities
• Team Structure: Attending + NPs + fellow; reduced team overnight
• Must be experienced in pediatric cardiovascular critical care
• ECMO experience preferred
• CA license required for NPs
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, DEA w/ CA Sched II
• Credentialing: 60–90 days
