Job description

Coverage Details:
Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts with no call responsibilities
Schedule: 1.9 FTE or 255 hours per month, covering 7 days a week

Work Details:
Facility Type: Urgent Care
Support Staff: Nurses and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Vaccines Required: COVID-19 and Flu
EMR System: EPIC
Technology: On My Way POCT Imaging (basic)
Average Daily Census: Ranges from 20 to 60 patients across different sites
Patient Age Group: 0 to 26 years

Procedures:
Dermabond for suturing or direct patients to the ED
Unit capabilities include pulse oximetry, vital signs monitoring, and oral medication administration
Additional Details:
Focus on low acuity patients, similar to those seen in a pediatrician’s office
Limited suturing; primarily use Dermabond or refer to ED
High acuity patients are redirected to the ED or 911 is called for EMS transport
Collaborate with a well-educated and supportive team of nurses and APPs
Alicia Manly is the Physician Director for Urgent Care

Requirements:
Board Certification
Ohio State License
Certifications: PALS
CSR
DEA
Experience: 1-2 years

Credentialing Timeframe:
Approximately 60-90 days
