A Level 1 Trauma facility is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician for locum tenens coverage. About the clinician's workday

The physiatrist will deliver comprehensive inpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation services during standard Monday through Friday day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Daily responsibilities include managing a census of patients within a Level 1 Trauma facility with emphasis on specialized rehabilitation medicine care. The clinician will conduct patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams. Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required along with prescriptive authority for complete patient management autonomy. The position involves no call requirements, allowing focused attention on inpatient rehabilitation medicine delivery and patient recovery optimization.
