Full time M-F 8a-6p
28 bed IP unit
AVG Census: 24
Provider will be responsible for 14 patients
Ages: 18 and up
AVG Length of stay: 7 days
Rounding IP unit, Daily consults on ED and Medical Floors (around 5-10), Supervising Psych NPs at other location remotely
Need Medicare & Medicaid
Medical director duties:
Court duties - may have to see the court about holding involuntary individuals if need longer stay
Apart of leadership, point person for psychiatric topics, attend team meetings, be available for clinical escalations IF* emergencies.
