Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Inpatient Hospital Role

Full-Time | 8am–5pm | 16-Bed C&A Unit
3–6 Month Contract (Possible Long-Term Placement)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide full-time inpatient coverage within a 16-bed Child & Adolescent unit serving patients ages 5–18. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively with the Clinical Director, Psych APRNs, Primary Care APRNs, and a full multidisciplinary treatment team to support high-quality patient care.

Schedule & Setting

Full-time: 8:00am–5:00pm

Inpatient hospital setting

Patient population: Children & adolescents (ages 5–18)

Contract length: 3–6 months, or until a long-term/permanent provider is selected

Selection process: CVs reviewed by the Medical Director, who will make final hiring decisions

Clinical Team

You will join a supportive clinical environment including:

Clinical Director

Psychiatric APRNs

Primary Care APRNs

Full multidisciplinary team (therapy, nursing, social work, etc.)

Preferred Background

Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred

Outpatient-trained psychiatrists will also be considered

Requirements

Licensed Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, or currently completing a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship
