Adult Inpatient Psychiatry – Locums

Start: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)
Credentialing: ASAP
Board Certification: Required
EMR: Epic

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Call: 1:4 rotation

Includes weekend call coverage for the Crisis Unit

Setting

Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit

30 total beds

Unit is split between 2 physicians

Average 15 patients per day

Patient Population

Primarily adult inpatient

Pediatric patients only seen during weekend call in the Crisis Unit

Child is evaluated and then transferred to an adolescent facility

No ongoing pediatric inpatient management

Staffing & Support

24/7 hospital security guards

All staff trained and participate in codes
