Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
1-hour unpaid lunch
No call required

 

Practice Setting

Inpatient behavioral health / psychiatric unit
20 adult beds
Support staff: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
EMR: Meditech (compatible with dictation)
Patient census: up to 20 per day, shared with Psych NP
Admissions/discharges: ~10 per week each
Average length of stay: 5–7 days

 

Required Clinical Skills

Initial psychiatric evaluations
Daily rounding
Psychiatric evaluations as needed on medical floor, detox unit, and ED
