About the clinician's workday

The psychiatrist will oversee psychiatric service operations for the assertive community treatment team, providing supervision to a psychiatric nurse practitioner while delivering direct clinical services. Clinical duties include conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic services for adult patients requiring community-based mental health treatment. The clinician will work part-time for 20 hours per week, managing 30-minute medication checks and 60-minute initial evaluations in a highly collaborative supportive environment. Additional responsibilities include participating in team meetings and maintaining detailed documentation while ensuring coordinated care delivery throughout the community treatment program.
