MB Radiation Oncology APP Needed – San Francisco, CA

Job description

I wanted to share an exciting APP opportunity in San Francisco, CA, within a highly respected academic medical center setting. Please see the details below:

Start: May

26-week assignment

Shift Details: m-f 5x8,

Schedule: no weekends no call – generally closed on holidays

**Practice Setting:**

* Outpatient (hospital-affiliated)
* Adult patient population
* Full-time coverage needed

**Work Details:**

* 6–8 patients scheduled per day (volume varies)
* Primary volume in Breast and GU Oncology (GU makes up the majority)
* Attending physicians handle new patient consults
* APPs manage follow-ups, symptom management, long-term follow-up care, and emergent add-on support
* APP serves as first line of contact for escalations (follow-up or emergent issues)
* Responsible for managing Epic in-basket
* No procedures required
* Support staff includes RNs, MAs, and attending providers
* EMR: Epic

**Ideal Candidate Profile:**

* Strong technical skills and advanced Epic proficiency
* Highly organized and detail-oriented

**Requirements:**

* Active California license required
* Active CA DEA (Schedule II required)
* BLS certification required
* Minimum 2–3 years of recent NP Oncology experience required
* Ambulatory/outpatient oncology experience preferred (inpatient oncology considered)
* Radiation oncology experience preferred but not required
* Academic medical center experience strongly preferred

Credentialing timeframe: TBD
