Facility is a 650+ provider multispecialty group seeking a full-time, board certified Radiation Oncologist to join their team as a Medical Physicist!

Schedule:
Full time, day shift
Job Responsibilities:
Ensures accuracy of all radiation measurements in all radiation oncology programs provided by or affiliated with Facility through periodic checks and records maintenance.
Participates in ongoing meetings and chart reviews for department procedural accuracy.
Oversees brachytherapy procedures for safety, accuracy, and record maintenance.
Assures accurate commissioning of radiation equipment and calibration.
Contributes to administrative functions such as NRC documentation, Radiation Safety Committee, and department policies & procedures review.

Requirements
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
Master’s degree in Medical Physics - [REQUIRED]
Current certification by the American Board of Radiology - [REQUIRED]
Successful completion of Part I and II of the American Board of Radiology certification exam with successful certification by The American Board of Radiology within 3 years of hire - [REQUIRED]
One year of experience as a medical physicist in a cancer treatment setting - [REQUIRED]
Experience in a Varian treatment environment - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
Preferred experience with external beam treatment planning including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, and 3DCRT Preferred experience with brachytherapy treatment planning Preferred experience with Sun Nuclear quality assurance devices - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
