Urgent Care APP needed in Athens, OH

Job description

Specialty: Urgent Care
Start Date: Aug-Sept
Contract Length: 8-10 weeks
Schedule: 9+ hr shifts - 8 am-5 pm (ish) We lock doors at 5 pm but we stay until all patients are seen.
Schedule: 4 days/week (M-F), typically M-Th, but may need an occasional Friday

Work Details:
• Support staff: we see acute walk-ins and scheduled patients
• Patient population/age: college students only - mostly 18-25yrs, but may need to see pediatric in certain circumstances (under 14)
• EMR: Epic
• Skills required: Laceration repair, Incision and drainage
Practice Setting:
• Student Health Center

Requirements:
• Board Certification: NCCPA, AANP, ANCC
• License required: Ohio Medical Board (Ohio License) CNP (family) or PA-C
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications preferred: ACLS, PALS
• Certifications required: BLS
• Minimum experience required: 2+ years
Credentialing Timeframe: Emergency – 30 days.
