New locum need in Sierra Vista, AZ for Urology locum-$3,000 daily rate plus callback hours-AZ license required-IN/Outpatient w temp priv available

Canyon Vista is looking for an experience locum to help with clinic and call.  Ideal candidate is a strong proceduralist with an active Arizona license and clean history. 



EMR-UHS Cerner

Clinic has a high functioning very experienced APP to support the provider.  


Schedule 8-5 with an unpaid hour lunch M-F in clinic and procedure room with night call


Ideal structure would be for a day rate to include time for clinic and OP procedures with night time pager call with CB and some flexibility for potential weekends PRN   



*Physicians are required to provide supporting notes listed on their timesheet entries to verify Call Back hours (patient contact hours) and Overtime hours submitted and associated with the acceptable occurrences mentioned above.


*Physicians must document in the timesheet the specific reason for the call back and they should have a description such that the note can be validated if an audit report was generated in an electronic health record.


*Overtime hours must be pre-approved by a manager or designee.  Overtime is considered hours over 40 hours.


*Telephone calls and medical record reviews should not be considered on site call back


* Call-back time does NOT include travel time to or from where they are being housed when responding to a hospital request.


 *Physician is not required to be on-site while providing Call Support (this means Market should not be charged for call back hours if a physician decides they want to stay in the hospital, but there is not the need for him/her to be there based on the criteria contained herein)
