We are seeking a Permanent Urologist in Jackson, MI.

Permanent Urologist

Position Type: Permanent

Rate: Permanent Placement Fee Rate Cap $22K
Shift: Varied (2 dedicated OR days/week, 2.5 clinic days)
Start Date: ASAP (approx. 90-day credentialing process)

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult and pediatric urology patients
Setting: Hospital / Health System – Level II Trauma Center

Responsibilities:
Outpatient, inpatient, rounds, and clinic duties
Perform urologic surgeries and procedures including prostate biopsies, BCG/Gemzar instillation, vasectomies, and cystoscopies
Collaborative call rotation: 1:4
Work with Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs), medical assistants, and support staff
Required Procedures: Robot-assisted laparoscopic procedures and general urology procedures
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: Full clinical support including APPs, MAs, front office staff
Days Per Month: Varied
On-Call/Weekends: 1:4 call rotation; some weekend coverage

Submission Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain)
Up-to-date flu vaccination
BLS and ACLS (or willing to obtain)
DEA and CSR/CDS
Clean malpractice and license history
Visa status (J1/H1B if applicable)
